Baker made four mixtapes in the period before joining Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. In the wake of delivering his lyrics quicker than a bullet train the Cleveland rapper experienced a swift rise to fame in 2011. His career changed from self-released cassettes, to being signed to labels. After that, his career increased exponentially as every album charted in the top 10.
