Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ and co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport began as a Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller by unanimous vote. Antonina was awarded a Silver Medal in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008 and a Golden medal in 2011, the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. She won in 2012 her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win with a majority. Antonina shevchenko recorded her first professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She won via second-round TKO, and then won 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on her kickboxing, and she made her comeback with Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa in a unanimous decision and defeated Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. She joined the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina demonstrated her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera by knees. After this win, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC in the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting match against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi with a unanimous decision. But, she was unable to win her next bout due to the split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the prize of the night for the bout. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her subsequent three bouts. She defeated Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
