After finishing his school years, Lars joined the military services and completed his basic military service for nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) an infantry regiment belonging to the Danish army. He wasn't sure if the military service was right for him, so he decided to look for something else and decided to pursue a degree in biology. Anette came back from a juggler's class and showed Lars how many she could do in just three days, despite the fact that Lars was already working for half of a year. Lars was delighted and was eager to try it. Therefore, he quit college and attended the school of jugglers. At this school he learned fire breathing and juggling, among other things. After the completion of high school he travelled around Europe with two buddies, where he performed in the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He was introduced to a children's circus two years later. The circus also taught him pantomimes for children's theater and street performances.
