Alinity is included in the complaint filed against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch viewer from California has filed a civil suit asking for $25 million damages from Twitch in connection with the exposure to "overly sexually provocative and explicit material from various female streamers" when they logged on to the website. Based on court papers that were obtained through Dexerto, the plaintiff, who has previously sued Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, presented the formal complaint to court on June 15 to seek a suit, and Twitch was served an formal summons on June 19. Estavillo is, as stated in the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint filed, suffers from a number of medical ailments that make him to depend solely on the Internet for his entertainment. Additionally, he suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder, and an addiction to sexual activity. As per the complaint, Twitch makes these issues worse. The complaint then outlined a number of female Twitch streamers and stated that they "continue to expose users to sexually addictive material and regularly on a daily as well as consistent schedule." Except for Alinity and others, they include in the request for relief it demands that all streamers named above to be permanently banned because they violated Twitch's TOS along with $25 million dollars "to be divided between the plaintiff and the other Twitch Prime Turbo users," the remainder of which will go to different charities.
